COPD Canada

COPD Canada is a non-profit educational society and patient advocacy group focused on providing support for people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Our goal is to increase national public awareness of COPD and to upgrade the information, services and support currently available to patients and their families. The group’s long-range objectives include the prevention of COPD as well as enhancing the treatment of COPD through education, patient care and advocacy.

COPD Canada

Here we are one week after the introduction of the COPD Canada blog site with only a couple of comments posted to the site. I guess a little publicity would be in order. We plan to introduce our first newsletter - Living with COPD - in early October 2006. A digital copy of the newsletter will be available through the COPD Canada web site www.copd.ws that will soon be up and running. Stay tuned folks!
